In the beginning of each month the Foundation “Safety Without Borders” (SSF) publishes the list of 12 countries representing the highest level of danger for tourists for the previous month.
This rating is composed on the basis of alerts coming from tourists and foreign citizens who live in these countries.
SSF Foundation has already published the list of 12 main countries (including Iraq, Afghanistan and Somali) from which in January 2008 came the biggest number of various requests for help.
Such force-majeure circumstances as sanitary and epidemiological dangers, and natural calamities were not taken into account. On the whole, tourists ran the risk of terrorist acts, mass discontent of the population, anti-Semitic conflicts and repressions.
